I usually do not respond to editorials. I consider it an exercise of futility, after all the editor has the final word, however the last week editorial was of such a personal nature, I deemed it necessary.
I suppose my decision concerning the superintendent could be viewed as a “flip flop” but, if so, it was a good “flip flop” based on facts and public sentiment.
We are elected as board members, we have responsibility to make decisions that are in the best interests of all students, (Lord, please help me always to remember this).
