Letter: Superintendent is supportive of evaluation

During the last two weeks I have read an editorial and letters to the editor regarding the Marion County superintendent’s formative evaluation. I was a member of the school board, which first decided to do the evaluation in December then at the next board meeting the board, and not the superintendent, reconsidered not to do the evaluation. The superintendent was very supportive of the idea of doing the evaluation before January when there is a change in board members.
