Letter: Visit supported our troops

These are tough times for our men and women in uniform, fighting two wars overseas while families struggle at home through the recession. As a veteran myself, I know how difficult it can be to be away from your family. That's why I want to express my appreciation to Gov. Steve Beshear for visiting our troops. They need to know that we are praying for them every day, and he went over there personally to tell that. Good job, Gov. Beshear.
