Letter: Working on 2012 county fair

Now that the 2011 fair week is behind us, the Marion County Fair Board has been diligently accessing how this year’s fair was compared to previous years and how we can improve in the future. This year our attendance was down a little from previous years and expenses have increased, but local participation in some events was up. We didn’t do as well as we have in the past, but we look forward in our planning for next year’s fair.
