Little League now offers new division

Beginning this season, baseball players will be able to participate in a new division, according to Gary Ballard, assistant district administrator and vice president of the local Little League program.
The new division will be referred to as intermediate 50-70, and will be for ages 11-13. This new division will be much like the three existing divisions in place now in that it will have its own district, state and regional tournaments along with its own World Series.
