A 12-year-old white male student from Lebanon Middle School was cited and taken into custody Tuesday, April 21, after he was found carrying a knife.
According to LMS Principal Todd Farmer, the student was showing the knife to some of his classmates and making "silly comments." One of his classmates told a school official and school administration called Lebanon Police Officer and school resource officer Wally Brady. He cited the juvenile and took him into custody. The student was released to his parents.
The student was suspended from school and a hearing was scheduled for this past Monday, Farmer said.
