Cory Beach (left), a 2012 graduate of Marion County High School is the recipient of the Sonum Perfectum Scholarship to SAE in Nashville, Tenn.  The Sonum Perfectum Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship that provides a creatively-gifted prospective student the opportunity to be rewarded for demonstrating an inherent ability and enthusiasm for audio.  Beach was awarded this $10,000 scholarship on June 20 based on his creative audio project consisting of an original audio submission with associated production paper and 300-word essay.  Application submissions were reviewed by the Campus Scholarship Committee, which recommended three finalists to the National Scholarship Committee, who rendered the final decision as to which applicant would be awarded the scholarship. Beach began classes on June 25, in the Audio Technology Program  at SAE Nashville. Beach is the son of Fay Beach of Lebanon and Troy Beach of Campbellsville.
