Local teams fare well in flag football showdown

Local flag footballers fared well Saturday during the Heart of Kentucky Flag Football Showdown at Graham Memorial Park. Two of the four final teams were local, according to event organizer Eric Daugherty.

Team captains David Hazelwood and Chad Spalding led their teams to the final four but couldn't get past "Campbellsville High Alum" and a Casey County team, who squared off in the final. The Casey County team came away with the title.
