Loretto Head Start students received new bikes, helmets for Christmas

The Loretto Head Start received bicycles for every student Dec. 20 as a result of a donation by Bobby and Debbie Blair of St. Francis

Bobby and Debbie Blair raised money to donate bicycles and helmets to every student in the Loretto Head Start program.

Christmas came a little early for the 40 children who participate in the Loretto Head Start program. On Dec. 20, Santa Claus arrived with new bicycles and helmets for every child. Santa had some help in this venture, however. Bobby and Debbie Blair of St. Francis worked to raise the funds to make the purchase, and the Blairs appreciated everyone who contributed to the effort.
In addition to Santa, State Rep. Terry Mills, Marion County Sheriff Jimmy Clements, Magistrate Steve Masterson, Rev. Joseph Hemmerle and family and friends of the children were present for the occasion.
