McQuinn O. Johnson, 36, of 703 Minette Circle in Louisville was indicted for first-degree sodomy, first-degree rape and first-degree persistent felony offender in Marion Circuit Court recently.
According to the indictment, on or about April 29, 2010, Johnson engaged in deviate sexual intercourse and sexual intercourse with another person by forcible compulsion. The indictment also reads that he was over the age of 21 and stood convicted of at least two felonies after his 18th birthday.
His bond was set at $20,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the complaining witness.
In other indictments:
- Brandon Keith Brady, 26, of Danville Highway in Lebanon was indicted for trafficking in marijuana eight ounces or more but less than five pounds and first-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about Jan. 27, 2011, Brady trafficked in marijuana (more than eight ounces, less than five pounds) or aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least two felonies after his 18th birthday.
His bond was set at $27,000 with no bail credit, and he was considered a public danger.
- William Boblitt, 36, of 399 Kelly Shop Road in Springfield was indicted for trafficking in marijuana eight ounces or more but less than five pounds.
According to the indictment, on or about Jan. 27, 2011, Boblitt trafficked in marijuana (more than eight ounces, less than five pounds) or aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
His bond was set at $18,000 with no bail credit, and he was considered a public danger.
- Nathaniel Grant, 25, of Marion Adjustment Center was indicted for second-degree escape and first-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about July 13, 2011, Grant escaped from the custody of the Marion Adjustment Center after previously being charged with or convicted of a felony. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least two prior felonies after his 18th birthday.
No bond was set in this case.
- William S. Whitehouse, 43, of 110 Spencer Hamilton Road in Loretto was indicted for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to the indictment, on or about Oct. 24, 2010, Whitehouse possessed, manufactured or transported a handgun and another firearm when he had previously been convicted of a felony and for which he had not been granted a pardon.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000.
- Kenneth T. Furmon, 43, of 445 Elm Street in Lebanon was indicted for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substance (fourth or subsequent offense), operating a motor vehicle while license is revoked or suspended for violation of KRS 189A.010 (which relates to driving under the influence; aggravator, second or subsequent offense), possession of marijuana, first-degree promoting contraband and first-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about July 1, 2011, Furmon operated or was in physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other substance that impaired his driving ability, and this was his fourth or subsequent offense within a five-year period.
The indictment also reads that he was driving while his license was suspended for driving under the influence, and this was his second or subsequent offense. The indictment continues to read that he introduced dangerous contraband into a detention facility or a penitentiary, or being confined to a detention facility or penitentiary, knowingly made, obtained or possessed dangerous contraband, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
The indictment continues to read that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least two felonies after his 18th birthday.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000. He received no bail credit. He was ordered to use no alcohol or drugs, and he was deemed a danger to others.
- Letty N. Gray, 32, of 761 Rosslyns Dale Drive in Lexington was indicted for first-degree promoting contraband, possession of marijuana, controlled substance prescription not in its original container, failure to register/transfer of motor vehicle, and failure to notify of address change to transportation.
According to the indictment, on or about June 4, Gray introduced dangerous contraband into a detention facility or a penitentiary, or being confined to a detention facility or penitentiary, knowingly made, obtained or possessed dangerous contraband, or she aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
Her bond was set at $1,000 cash with the condition that she use no alcohol or drugs.
- Benny D. Smothers, 36, of 3055 Tatum Lane in Gravel Switch was indicted for theft by failure to make required disposition of property.
According to the indictment, on or about April 16, 2010, Smothers obtained property upon agreement (valued at more than $300) or subject to a known legal obligation to make specified payment or other disposition whether from such property, its proceeds or his own property to be reserved in equivalent amount and intentionally dealt with the property as his own and failed to make required payment or disposition.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the complaining witness.
- Kamron M. Wright, 24, of 7332 Patrick Henry Way Apt. S in Louisville was indicted for theft by unlawful taking over $500, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about May 11, 2011, Wright took or exercised control over property valued at more than $500 belonging to another, or he aided, abetted or counseled by another in said act. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least one felony after his 18th birthday.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the victim.
- Ashley N. Pair, 24, of 7332 Patrick Henry Way Apt. S in Louisville was indicted for theft by unlawful taking over $500 and third-degree criminal mischief.
According to the indictment, on or about May 11, 2011, Pair took or exercised control over property valued at more than $500 belonging to another, or she aided, abetted or counseled by another in said act.
Her bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the condition that she has no contact with the victim.
- Gary T. Tacey II, 47, of 60 Brady Road in Loretto was indicted for flagrant non-support.
According to the indictment, between March 20, 1998, and June 30, 2007, Tacey failed to provide support for his minor child, which he could reasonably provide and has a duty to provide by virtue of a court order and that said failure has resulted in an arrearage in excess of $1,000.
His bond was set at $1,000 and is non-refundable.
