Marion County Judge/Executive John G. Mattingly received a copy of the 2011 Kentucky Basic Cable Rate Survey and he was concerned about what he saw. According to the survey, the basic tier of services offered in Lebanon was two to three times more expensive than basic packages offered by Time Warner in other locations.
The survey indicated that the basic tier in Lebanon was 55-60 channels for $65. Comparatively, the basic tier is 12 channels for $13.80 in Clark County, 25 channels for $15.76 in Danville, and 27 channels for $27.95 in Lawrenceburg.
