MAC escapee has been caught

William Paul Monroe, 30, walked away from MAC on Sept. 30. He was captured at 2:20 p.m. Nov. 1 by the Harlan County Sheriff's Department. Monroe is being housed in the Harlan County Detention Center.
Monroe was serving an eight-year sentence for second-degree robbery on a Harlan County charge. He was scheduled to see the parole board in January of 2013.
