Mainstream Packaging named 2012 Marion County Supporting Industry of the Year

Mainstream Packaging was named the 2012 Marion County Supporting Industry of the Year at the Marion County Office of Economic Development’s 2012 Marion County Industrial Foundation Appreciation Banquet Friday, Nov. 2.
Mainstream Packaging specializes in steel-returnable containers, material handling, sheet-metal fabrications and welding using mild steel stainless steel and aluminum. These containers help provide their clients a safe and efficient delivery of their products to their customers. Some of their local customers include Curtis-Maruyasu, TG Kentucky, R.L. Schreiber, NSU, TBMK and Fuel Total Systems.
Mainstream Packaging has also expanded and are now working with companies such as John Deere, Dana, NAVASTAR and Mitsubishi. The company was recently awarded the “Quality of Excellence” by Honda.
Mainstream Packaging employs 22 people from four different counties, including Marion, Taylor, Green and Mercer.
The company has sponsored many youth sports, Marion County Jr. Miss, the Marion County High School marching band and The Angel Tree program.
