Man gets probation for weapons charges

George M. Smith, 30, of 514 S. Spalding Avenue in Lebanon received two years of probation in Marion Circuit Court recently for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and alcohol intoxication in a public place. He was also ordered to pay $150 court costs and to serve 30 days in jail.
