The Marion County Knights ended the month of March with a 3-2 record. They closed the month by falling to the Mercer County Titans. A round of foul weather swamped out a weekend of tournament play.

The Knights dropped to 3-2 on March 26 as they lost 11-0 to the Titans (6-0).

Junior catcher Jeremy Morris, who was lead-off hitter, made the only hit for the Knights against Titans junior pitcher Anthony Yates, who struck out seven batters in the game. Marion County used two pitchers in the game. Junior Robbie Spalding and senior Mason Gadberry combined for three strikeouts.

The Titans would add insult to injury by scoring in nearly every inning including six runs in the final frame.

The Knights defeated the Elizabethtown Panthers, 2-0, in seven innings on March 24.

Senior pitcher Joey Costello pitched all seven innings, dealing six strikeouts against the Panthers (2-2).

The Knights scored two runs in the third inning when junior infielder Robbie Spalding doubled to drive in Costello and junior infielder Anthony Bradshaw.

Bradshaw was pinch running for Morris, who had singled earlier in the inning.
