The Marion County Conservation District hosted their annual Jim Claypool Art & Writing Banquet Monday, Feb. 21, at the Marion County Extension Office. The 2010 theme was “Kentucky’s Soil- All Hands In.” Students expressed opinions on how they believe soil helps to contribute to our natural resources, wildlife, and conservation issues through art or a descriptive essay.
