Marion County Fire School

More than 200 fire fighters and emergency personnel participated in the recent Marion County Fire School. During the weekend's activities, firefighters from around the state participated in classes about fire behavior and control, firefighter survival, arson/crime scene management and drivers training. There were also live training exercises, including a live house burning exercise on Hwy 289 and a survival and rescue training exercise near Centre Square.
