Marion County receives food, shelter grant

Marion County has been awarded a $9,581 grant from the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program. The grant will supplement emergency food, rent/mortgage and utility assistance programs.

The National Board is headed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, but also includes representatives from the Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Council of Jewish Federations, Catholic Charities USA and the United Way of America.
