Mary Jean Parrott, 68, Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2012 after an illness.
She was born Dec. 30, 1943 in Marion County.
She was preceded in death by: Richard and Hattie Bickett Spalding; a son, Richard Edward Parrott; two brothers, Joseph and James Spalding; and a grandson, Roland Lee Parrott Jr.
Survivors include: her husband, James Parrott of Lebanon; two sons, James Anthony Parrott (Marcia) of Ohio and Roland Parrott (Sherille) of Lebanon; two daughters, Cheryl Smith (Tom) of Lexington and Jacqueline Parrott-Moore (Norman) of Tennessee; a brother, Michael Andrew Spalding of Lebanon; three sisters, Geneva Ellery of Lebanon, and Darlene and Charlene Spalding, both of Louisville; six grandchildren; one grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2012 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mickey and Frank Wright, Tim and Gary Buckler, Brandon Edelen, Roger Thompson III, and Mark Spalding.
Campbell-DeWitt Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.
