Mattingly attends professional development conference

Stacy Mattingly, executive director of the Marion County Chamber of Commerce, joined 55 representatives from local chambers across the commonwealth last week in Frankfort for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives spring conference, presented by Infintech.
Professional development programs were offered on topics including relationship building, crisis management, retaining members, and engaging new members. In addition, the attendees participated in a time honored best practice session where they shared information on what their local chamber is doing.
Networking events offered attendees the chance to exchange ideas and develop relationships with their counterparts around the state.
“In the chamber business, it’s imperative to share experiences and talk about what works and what doesn’t. KCCE conferences provide ample opportunities to discuss important issues with colleagues and foster a strong support system we can utilize throughout the year,” said Mattingly.
The Marion County Chamber of Commerce received recognition from the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives for “Outstanding Website” and “Outstanding Special Event” among local chambers of similar size.
Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives is a professional association created to aid in the growth of local chambers of commerce. KCCE provides professional development, networking opportunities and assistance to local chamber of commerce professionals in the commonwealth.
