MCHS drops two volleyball matches

The Marion County Lady Knights volleyball team competed in two matches last week, going on the road to take on Russell County and hosting Washington County on Tuesday of last week. The Lady Knights were defeated in both matches, taking their overall record to 20-9, with their district standings remaining at 8-0.
Thursday night, the Marion County Lady Knights volleyball team traveled to play Russell County. Things would not go the Lady Knights’ way during the match, and they lost both sets to Russell County.
