The Marion County High School Lady Knights soccer team struggled against Mercer County last week and fell 8-0, and was narrowly defeated 1-0 by North Hardin.
On Monday of last week, the Lady Knights hosted Mercer County. The Lady Titans are ranked in the state rankings and showed why.
"They attacked early and often," Coach Devin Johnson said. "In the end, they were really just too much for us to handle."
Mercer County was able to score four goals in the first half on what Johnson called "mental mistakes on our part."
