The ends of two stories in the Aug. 28 edition were cut off, and we apologize for the confusion.
The last paragraph of the story, "Abell values team work" about Mike Abell, the new Marion County High School Principal sould read:
“I want to be involved,” he said. “I want to make myself available to the community.”
The second story, "More valuable than the dollar figure" about Marion County residents who do now want a pipeline on their property, ended on a quote from Dorothee Sheehan, one of the property owners.
It should read:
"This isn’t just about our land and our rights,” she said. “It is about the principle of private property, about being able to leave something to the future as a gift.”
Again, we apologize for the error.
