A 68-year-old hunter from Missouri died of a heart attack yesterday in Marion County.
Richard L. Garlough of Gainesville, MO, was found in the woods in the Riley area Thursday afternoon, Nov. 15. Moraja said Garlough was found at 5:50 p.m. Thursday, and he was pronounced dead at 6:15 p.m.
"He evidently had a heart attack," Marion County Coroner Dick Moraja said.
Garlough was in town for a hunting trip. When he didn't return to a cabin yesterday afternoon, members of his hunting party became concerned.
