Monday morning fire damages shop building at dairy farm

Firefighters from Loretto, Raywick and New Hope were on the scene for more than seven hours Monday morning containing a fire at the Peterson Dairy Farm, located at 250 County Line Road in Loretto.

According to the Lebanon Police Dispatch log, Sandy Peterson called to report the fire at 1:50 a.m. Jan. 21.

The shop on the farm was on fire.

The first firefighter from Raywick arrived on the scene at 2:05 a.m. Firefighters remained on the scene until 9:21 a.m.

Marion County Rescue also responded to the scene.
