New school board members will be sworn in today

The newest members of the Marion County Board of Education are scheduled to be sworn in at 3:30 p.m. today during a special-called meeting at the board of education office.

Following the oaths of office for the new members, the board will elect its chairperson and vice chairperson, consider the minutes of previous board meeting, and go into executive session, if needed.
