No garbage pick-up on President's Day

Monday, Feb. 18, is President's Day, and it is a holiday for Marion County government employees.

As a result, no garbage pick up will take place Monday. Instead, the Monday route will be pick up Tuesday, Feb. 19, along with the regular Tuesday route. County residents are encouraged to put their trash out earlier than usual because Feb. 19 will be a double-up day for sanitation crews.
