Debbie Payne, house supervisor RN, was recently named both the Celebrity of the Quarter representing nursing and the DAISY Award winner at Spring View Hospital. DAISY is an acronym for Diseases Attacking the Immune System. The Foundation was formed in January of 2000, by the family of J. Patrick Barnes who died at age 33 of complications of Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP). The DAISY Foundation honors nurses across the country for their outstanding contributions to patient care.
