Pedestrian dies after collision on US 68

A woman from Ekhorn died and a Campbellsville woman was injured after they were struck by a Ford truck Friday, Sept. 18.

The collision occurred at 8:39 p.m. on U.S. 68 approximately four miles west of Lebanon.

Ladonna J. Sallee, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene, and Trena R. Summers, 32, was transported to Spring View Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

According to the Kentucky State Police, alcohol appeared to be a factor involving the pedestrians. Summers was cited for alcohol intoxication.
