Poets’ Supper Collection in memory of Terry Ward

Susan H. Simpson, right, a member of the Poets’ Supper, recently presented The Poets’ Supper Collection 2012 to Ilona Burdette, director of library services at St. Catharine College’s Emily W. Hundley Library. The collection, edited by Simpson, is in memory of Terry Ward, a long-time member of the Poets’ Supper and of the St. Catharine College faculty. Among the poetry in the collection are poems by and about Ward. Terry was “a wonderful, giving member of the group” and “a great poet,” Simpson said. “You were always glad to see him.” The Poets’ Supper brings together poets from Central Kentucky every other month to share a meal, poetry and artwork.
