On Thursday, the Marion County Fiscal Court approved a request to close a portion of Helm Schoolhouse Road on Saturday, June 23, the day of the Warrior Dash.
View MapThe gravel portion of Helm School House Road, between the intersections with Ed Sullivan Road and Popes Creek Road, will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday morning until the Warrior Dash event has concluded. This is being done to insure emergency vehicles will have access to the race site in the event of an emergency.
Residents who live on Helm Schoolhouse Road will still have access to their homes.
