During the holiday season, there is a rise in burglaries. During the month of December, the City of Lebanon has already had six burglaries or attempted burglaries reported, according to the Lebanon Police Department.
In the United States, a home is robbed every 14.6 seconds, and the average dollar loss per burglary is $2,119, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
