Post 15 KSP Activity Report
During the month of December 2010, there were 43 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington.
There were seven fatalities during the month of December in the Post 15 area:
• Cody Ervin, Greensburg, was killed in Green County on 12/04/10.
• Nicola Gasteri, Jamestown, was killed in Russell County on 12/05/10.
• Howard Garner, Nancy, was killed in Russell County on 12/16/10.
• David Moreland, Albany, was killed in Clinton County on 12/17/10.
• Amanda Moreland, Albany, was killed in Clinton County on 12/17/10.
• McKenzie Moreland, Albany, was killed in Clinton County on 12/17/10.
• Ricky Brinkley, Bowling Green, was killed in Clinton County on 12/17/10.
 This brings our yearly fatality count to 31 compared with 42 through this same period in 2009.
Statewide, the fatality count stands at 747 compared with 791 through this same period in 2009.
During the month of December, 2010, there were 935 citations written, 425 courtesy notices written, 1534 vehicles inspected, 799 complaints answered, 212 motorists assisted, 63 criminal cases opened and 190 criminal arrests made.

Stephanie S. Jones, #10 Howard Ave., Lebanon, theft by deception including cold checks under $500, 17 counts, 45 days in jail, probated for 24 months on condition of no further violations, and $423.
Jennifer Nichols, 75 Cloyd Brady Road, Lebanon, falsely reporting an incident, 30 days in jail, probated for 24 months on condition of no further violations, and $133.
