Q&A on county debris removal plan

The Marion County Fiscal Court met at 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, to decide on a plan for debris removal following the recent ice storm. All county residents are reminded that staging areas are available if they want to remove the debris from their property themselves. The current staging area is located at the corner of Taylor and Mercer avenues in Lebanon. More staging areas will be opening in the coming weeks in other parts of the county. The county transfer station is closed at this time as Cox Interior of Campbellsville is grinding the accumulated storm debris.
