Craig Scott was a student at Columbine High School April 20, 1999, when the infamous shooting spree took place. His sister, Rachel, was the first person killed that fateful day.
Monday, Feb. 8, Craig Scott will be visiting Marion County. He is scheduled to speak with middle school students at 9 a.m. and with high school students at 1 p.m. He will meet with Friends of Rachel (a teen leadership group) at 3:30 that afternoon, and he will give a community presentation at 7 p.m. at Marion County High School. The presentations are free to the public and will all be held at MCHS.
A one-hour audio/video presentation encourages the audience to make positive changes in how they treat others. After the presentation, a 45-minute training session is intended to show adult and student leaders how to implement the ideas encouraged in the presentation.
