Scholarship available for high school seniors

The Marion County Conservation District encourages anyone who may qualify to please apply for the Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts Auxiliary Scholarships. They are the George Crafton Scholarship, the Betty Barrick- Non-Traditional Scholarship, and the Natural Resources Scholarship.
If you apply you must either be a high school senior studying agriculture, between graduation and entering college, a college student enrolled in college majoring in agriculture or related fields of natural resources conservation, or a college student more than 25 years of age pursuing an under-graduate degree in agriculture or related natural resources field. This ensures that a recipient is selected from each appropriate group.
All scholarship applications must be signed by the local conservation district to be eligible and mailed to the Division of Conservation by Feb. 25. Applications will not be accepted after this date.
