School board to discuss appointing acting superintendent Friday

The Marion County Board of Education has scheduled a special-called meeting for 3:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at the board office, 755 E. Main Street in Lebanon.

According to the agenda, they board will go into executive session per KRS 61.810(1)(F). This subsection of the open meetings law allows an executive session to consider the appointment, discipline or dismissal of an employee.

The board will consider appointing an acting superintendent and approve the minutes of its previous meeting.
