School board meeting at 7 p.m. tonight

The Marion County Board of Education is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. tonight, April 14. Last night, the board held a special-called meeting to discuss the finalists to become the next superintendent.

The finalists — Lisa Carroll, Chuck Hamilton, Ed Musgrove and Donald W. Smith — have all be interviewed by the board and met with members of the Marion County community. Monday night's school board meeting took place almost entirely in executive session.
