School board meets Tuesday

 The Marion County Board of Education is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at the central office building, 755 E. Main Street in Lebanon.

The agenda for that meeting includes the following:

• Election of chairperson and vice-chairperson

• Communications

- Superintendent's report

-Student drug testing report – Tim Lyons

-Summer feeding report – Diane Evans

-21st Century Program report – Diane Evans

- Finance report – Superintendent Schlosser

- Early childhood facility location update – Scott Spalding

-End of Course Assessments – Mike Abell

• Student learning services 

- Approve the 2014 policy update #37 and procedure update #18

- Re-establish a MCHS Football Booster Club

- Approval of  early kindergarten entrance

• Student suppor services

- Approve matched funding for the Community Based Work Transition Program for FY2015

- Approve  increase in school lunch costs for 2014-15 

- Approve salary schedules for FY2015

- Acceptance of fuel bids for FY2015

- Consider approval of job description revisions

- Consider approval of BG-1 for MCATC

- Approve Superintendent’s travel expense

- Consider renewal for Curneal & Hignite Insurance for FY2015

• Student learning and consent items

- Approve  minutes of  May 29, 2014, special called meeting

- Approve disbursements for payroll, direct deposits, and accounts payable

- Approve 2014-2015 Kentucky School Boards Association membership dues

- Approve Glasscock Elementary School fundraisers for 2014-2015

- Approve Math Achievement Grant for Lebanon Elementary for 2014-15 

- Approve Memorandum of Agreement for 21st Century Community Learning Centers

- Authorize payments of all expenditures for the end of fiscal year 2014

- Acknowledge notifications of all personnel actions
