The Marion County Public School system recently received a $11,500 grant for the 2012-13 school year, according to Deborah Spalding, director of special education/preschool.
“WHAS has been so wonderful to our district as a whole, supporting many other organizations with needs within our community,” Spalding said. “Our students will greatly benefit through this grant...”
According to Spalding, the grant funds will be used for reading and math programs.
