Sheriff's 2012 budget approved; clerk's budget tabled

813,The Marion County Fiscal Court voted 4-0 Thursday in favor of the Marion County Sheriff's 2012 budget. Magistrate Jackie Wicker was not present at the Dec. 15 meeting.

The sheriff's budget shows an increase from $813,850 * in 2011 to $864,639.18 in 2012.

The budget includes an anticipated increase in payroll from $477,509.30 * in 2011 to $516,834.38 in 2012.
