Firefighters from across Marion County spent nearly four and a half hours containing a house fire at 250 Short Line Pike on June 19. The interior of the house, which belongs to Bo and Nita Sherrell, was completely destroyed, and the roof was damaged as firefighters worked to get the fire out.
No one was injured as a result of the fire. Neither the Sherrells nor their sons, Timothy (7) and Elliot (6), were at home at the time of the fire.
