Softball team wins two big district games

The Marion County Lady Knights softball team was scheduled to play in the Bullitt County Invitational this past weekend. However, due to the rain, the tournament was cancelled and will not be rescheduled. The Lady Knights were also in action on Monday and Tuesday of last week, competing in district games against Campbellsville and Taylor County. Marion County won both of those outings, taking their overall record to 10-3 and their district standings to 3-1.
According to Head Coach Todd Spalding, when he took this job this is the way he envisioned his team playing.
