Softball tourney winners

The Blaze 12U softball team won first place in their division in the annual Labor Day tournament hosted Sept. 1 and 2 at Graham Memorial Park. The team won all of their games in pool play capturing the #1 seed after giving up only two runs to advance to the single elimination tournament on Sunday. On Sunday they easily run-ruled their first opponent sending them to the semi finals. After an inning and a half of play torrential rains, tornado warnings and watches would end the games with Blaze's record putting them in first place.
