Springfield woman indicted for theft over $10,000

Rosemary Devine, 60, of 60 Cathy Court in Springfield was indicted for theft by unlawful taking $10,000 or more.
According to the indictment, on or about Jan. 23, Devine took or exercised control of property valued over $10,000 belonging to another (Wal-mart) with intent to deprive them thereof.
Her bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000 with the condition that she has no contact with the victim.
- James A. Gulley Jr., 29, 3313 Old Calvary Pike Road in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 19, 2011, Gulley possessed a controlled substance that is classified as a schedule I or II, which is a narcotic or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the condition that he uses no drugs or alcohol.
- Thomas J. Hamilton, 32, of 8560 Loretto Road in Loretto was indicted for tampering with physical evidence, third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the indictment, on or about June 14, 2011, Hamilton destroyed, mutilated, concealed, removed or altered physical evidence knowing it may be evidence to be used in an official proceeding.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the condition that he uses no drugs or alcohol.
- Jason Wayne Stearman, 35, of 254 Shreveport Road in Campbellsville was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI first offense (aggravator, refusal), reckless driving, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security first offense, no or expired registration plates, second-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 17, Stearman was in possession of a controlled substance that is classified in schedule I or II, which is a narcotic drug, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. The indictment also reads that he operated or was in physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, a controlled substance, or a combination of substances.
The indictment continues to read that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least one felony after his 18th birthday.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the condition that he uses no drugs or alcohol.
- Angela Hunt, 36, of 1440 Riley Road in Gravel Switch was indicted for fraudulent use of a credit card over $500 and under $10,000 (three counts) and for second-degree forgery (two counts).
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 18, Hunt fraudulently used a credit or debit card to obtain money, goods, services, or anything else of value, or she aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. The indictment also reads that she falsely made, completed or altered with a written instrument a deed, will, credit card or other instrument that does or may evidence, create, transfer, terminate or otherwise affect a legal right, interest, obligation or status.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the condition that she has no contact with the complaining witness.
- Richard Robert Scott, 37, of 15 Howard Avenue in Lebanon was indicted in two separate indictments for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, first-degree trafficking in controlled substance greater than four grams (second or subsequent offense), alcohol intoxication and first-degree persistent felony offender (two counts).
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 31,  Scott possessed, manufactured or transported a handgun after he had been convicted of a felony.
According to the second indictment, Scott trafficked in a controlled substance (more than four grams) classified in schedule I or II, which is a narcotic, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
Both indictments read that he was over 21 and stood convicted of at least two felonies.
His bonds were set at $1,000 and $1,500.
- Barney L. Shepardson, 23, of 15 Howard Avenue in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance more than four grams and resisting arrest.
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 31, Shepardson trafficked in a controlled substance (more than four grams) classified in schedule I or II, which is a narcotic, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
His bond was set at $1,000 with the condition that he has no contact with R.R. Scott.
- Rhonda A. Hooper, 43, of 15 Howard Avenue in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance and second-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 31, Hooper possessed a controlled substance (cocaine) classified in schedule I or II, which is a narcotic, or she aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act. The indictment also reads that she was over 21 and stood convicted of at least one felony after her 18th birthday.
Her bond was set at $1,000.
- James G. Walker Jr., 46, of 7500 Farm House Lane in Louisville was indicted for third-degree assault (two counts), resisting arrest and second-degree disorderly conduct.
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 23, Walker caused or attempted physical injury to a state, county, city or federal peace officer (two officers).
His bond was set at $1,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the victim and uses no alcohol or drugs.
- Francisca E. Herrera, 39, of 5055 Fairview Road in Versailles was indicted for theft by unlawful taking over $500, first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, and possession of burglar’s tools.
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 21, Herrera took or exercised control over property valued over $500 belonging to another (Wal-mart) with intent to deprive them thereof or she aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
Her bond was set at $1,000 with the condition that she has no contact with the victim.
- Shannon N. Hudgins, 23, of 1155 Riley Road in Gravel Switch was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance and theft by unlawful taking under $500.
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 16, Hudgins possessed a controlled substance classified as a schedule I or II, which is a narcotic, or aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
His bond was set at $1,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the victim.
- Joseph Darrell Goff Jr., 36, of 1355 Bradfordsville Highway in Lebanon was indictment for fourth-degree assault third or subsequent offense and third-degree terroristic threatening.
According to the indictment, on or about Jan. 10, Goff caused physical injury to another person and it was his third or subsequent offense within five years.
His bond was set at $500 with the conditions that he has no contact with the victim, resides with Pam Hourigan, uses no alcohol, and attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings three times per week.
- Deandre L. Douglas, 19, of 371 S. Harrison Street in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree promoting contraband, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, alcohol intoxication and disorderly conduct.
According to the indictment, on or about Dec. 25, Douglas introduced dangerous contraband into a detention facility, or being confined in a detention facility, made, obtained, or possession dangerous contraband or he aided, abetted, or counseled with another in said act. The indictment also reads the he knowingly and unlawfully possessed a controlled substance classified as schedule I or II, which is a narcotic.
His bond was set at $500 with the condition that he has no contact with the Cardinal Den.
