Stage fright to spotlight

Daugherty sisters to release their first EP on Friday

By Stevie Lowery

Singing in front of people used to make sisters Katelyn and Samantha Daugherty so nervous that they would hide behind furniture or walls in their home when singing for their parents’ friends.
The first time they can remember singing in front of an audience together was around nine years ago when they performed at the St. Joe Community Center. They sang “Grenade” by their favorite male artist, Bruno Mars, and they both were beyond nervous.
