Stand United Against Violence event Monday, Oct. 29

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. At 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 29, the Springhaven Domestic Violence Program is organizing an event for local agencies and members of the community who wish to show their support for those who suffer domestic abuse. The event will be held on the steps of the county building in downtown Lebanon right next to the courthouse. The event will include speeches of solidarity against all forms of violence in our homes, stories of abuse and survival, a reading of the names of domestic violence homicide victims and a lantern release in remembrance of the victims of domestic violence.
