Storms possible this evening

The National Weather Service is predicting numerous showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening of June 16 in Central Kentucky.

Thunderstorms my be severe with damaging winds from the southeast around 10 miles per hour, according to the NWS. Large hail and heavy rainfall are possible.

The NWS is forecasting a 70 percent chance of rainfall.

Tonight, the NWS is calling for 60 percent chance of rain with winds from the south at 5-10 miles per hour.
