Amber Lucas was among the 11 students selected from across the state to display an agriculture science project at this week’s Kentucky Farm Bureau annual meeting in Louisville.
Lucas, a seventh grade student from New Hope, exhibited a project called “Bees = Benefits.”
This experiment explored how honeybees affect our everyday lives and the importance of keeping a healthy honey bee population in Kentucky.
