The Marion County Public Library will kick off its summer reading program from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the tennis courts at Graham Memorial Park. Bring a swimsuit, be ready to get wet, and come enjoy music by the Steel Away Drum Band.
This year's summer reading program for young children is themed "One World, Many Stories." For teens and tweens, the theme is "You Are Here," and the adult program is "Novel Destinations."
